  • Include the keyword phrase in the title. This will increase the relevancy of your content for that keyword phrase. In addition, the title usually becomes the headline for the SERP, and including the keyword will increase the likelihood of a click-through.
  • Include a Primary keyword toward the beginning of your Title to increase the relevancy of the keyword within the search engines' indexes.

* Heading Tags – Heading tags are used to let search engines know that some of the content is more important. See graphic below. The “1” designates this heading as the most important one on the page. You can use H1 through H6 with H6 being the smallest and least important.

* Alt Tag for images – The image alt tag is used to provide a text description of a graphic. Each graphic on your site should have a description and an alt tag. This also helps screen readers used by those who are disabled.
